La pasada semana estuve colaborando con Estudio Ferran Sendra en la convención anual de directivos de La Caixa a nivel de dirección artística y técnica. En este evento en particular, estuvimos trabajando con pantallas que ocupen todo el escenario con una proyección frontal. Dicho esto para los que sois del ramo. entenderéis la dificultad que tiene al estar los ponentes y los elementos de escenografía en medio del “chorro” de luz de los proyectores. Por ello usamos una nueva técnica que se basa en la creación de una mascara negra integrada en el fondo animado que nos permitió ocultar las sombras y por otro lado no molestar a los ponentes.

Así mismo tomamos una decisión muy acertada de trabajar a resoluciones por encima de full hd o como dicen los de mac con sistema retina. Una resolución de pantalla de 2860pxx1200 px proyectada en una pantalla de 16,7 metros de largo x 6,3 metros de altura.  Vídeos y fondos de pantalla igualmente estaban a esa resolución. El resultado es una definición y calidad de proyección que como veréis en las fotos, parece gráfica impresa cuando en realidad es proyección.  espero que os guste tanto como nos gusto a nosotros y al cliente!.

This days i been reading few books and i will like to share with you some of my highlight sentences. Hope you will enjoy it.

• Coworking is a state of mind, a community and most important a unique global movement. But figuring out how to get the most out of this new, rapdly expanding concept of working can be difficult if you don´t know where to look.
• Indivivuals often seek out membership at a coworking space becouse they either feel isolated or becouse they are coming up against productivity barries. These folks don´t need an internet connnection and a desk. they already have that. What They need is a coworking community where they can work alongside others.

The Media Merchants worked with Taxi 2 to create the MINI Vending Machine, the first ever fully interactive (via SMS) night projection in Canada.

The MINI Vending Machine showcases the latest 2011 MINIs and passersby are able to interact with the projection by texting to a shortcode to select the MINI of their choice. Upon doing this, it triggers the MINI they´ve selected make its way down to the bottom of the vending machine, in trademark cheeky MINI animated style.

The MINI Vending Machine is being projected by The Media Merchants utilizing two 15K DLP Cinematic Projectors.

l sueño de cualquiera que quiera hacer la mejor de las presentaciones puede estar cerca con lo que nos propone Microsoft Cinema, una pantalla de 243 pulgadas que permite que podamos interactuar de forma táctil sobre ella.
La pudimos ver por primera vez en el CeBIT celebrado en Alemania, y ha sido desarrollada por la división de Microsoft en el país europeo, con la ayuda de Stereolize, especialistas en la realización de presentaciones interactivas. Vamos a verla en funcionamiento:

Lógicamente pensar en este tipo de desarrollos con un destino doméstico no tiene sentido, sin embargo puede representar una herramienta ideal para presentaciones de grandes compañías o centros de congresos.

Como podéis ver en el vídeo, la tecnología permite que se puedan realizar desplazamientos y gestos multitáctiles sobre la pantalla. No vamos a tener unos brazos que nos permitan abarcar el tamaño de la pantalla, pero se vuelve realmente práctica en las zonas en las que tenemos control sobre la misma.

Mención aparte merece el diseño de la interfaz de la presentación, al más puro estilo Metro, que parece vamos a tener que acostumbrarnos a ver a menudo en productos de la firma de Redmond. Sólo falta que Microsoft de soporte a PowerPoint y unos cuantos de miles de euros que debe costar el invento, sino echad un vistazo a lo que hay detrás del mismo:

Espectacular acción realizada con 200 watios de laser de colores. Podríamos decir que es una proyección de guerrillas gigante, ya que en vez de usar un edificio, directamente proyectamos en la montaña. Para los mas técnicos la proyección contaba con una distancia de 2 millas!!.. Esta claro que esto solo se puede hacer con laser.

The projected images are many hundreds of feet wide and using the world’s largest full-color entertainment lasers.

Kicking off their new mega-initiative celebrating creativity called The Creators Project, Vice and Intel drew out the masses for a day-long series of performances, installations and events at Milk Studios in NYC this past Saturday. As to be expected from such an ambitious project, the line-up had its lows and highs, with the packed NYC debut of Die Antwoord topping the list.
